Progress 64 West: YES on Proposition U

We always seek the truth and try to provide our members, supporters and subscribers that which is in the best interest of the vitality of our region. In the case of Proposition U, it's a very important YES. Years ago, voters approved a 1% retail sales tax, but a loophole allowed an exemption for out-of-state vendors. Let’s vote to require out-of-state online and catalog vendors to collect the same 1% tax that Chesterfield’s local retailers collect. We can fix this disparity by voting ‘yes’ on Tuesday, April 4. Video paid for by Citizens for Chesterfield's Future, Gerald Right, Treasurer.
