2026 Lifetime Achievement Award
Dr. Bernard DuBray

Progress 64 West is proud to recognize Dr. Bernard DuBray with the 2026 Lifetime Achievement Award for a distinguished career dedicated to education, leadership, and community service. Over more than five decades, Dr. DuBray served as a teacher, coach, principal, assistant superintendent, and ultimately Superintendent of the Fort Zumwalt School District, helping guide one of Missouri's largest and most respected school systems through a period of significant growth and achievement before retiring in 2023.

His impact extends far beyond education. Throughout his career and continuing into retirement, Dr. DuBray has remained committed to strengthening the St. Louis and St. Charles regions through civic engagement, regional leadership, and community service. His legacy is reflected not only in the institutions he helped build, but in the generations of students, families, and community leaders whose lives have been positively influenced by his dedication, vision, and lifelong commitment to public service.

Excellence in Community Development Awards

Every year, Progress 64 West honors individuals and organizations whose leadership, vision, and commitment have made a meaningful difference in the communities we serve. The Excellence in Community Development Awards recognize those who go beyond expectations to strengthen our region through economic development, education, innovation, public service, philanthropy, and civic engagement.

This year's recipients are true Champions in Action—leaders who not only excel in their respective fields, but who also understand the importance of investing in the future of our communities. Through their efforts and the organizations they represent, they are helping create opportunities, improve quality of life, and build a stronger, more vibrant St. Louis and St. Charles region. Their work serves as a reminder that lasting progress is achieved through leadership, collaboration, and a shared commitment to making our region a better place to live, work, and thrive.
