If something does not sound right, or if you are being pressured, don’t act immediately…delay to think “why”?
Passwords are important. Use strong & long ones.
Multi Factor Authentication (MFA) (the thing that sends a number code to your phone) is your very best friend. If it is available…use it!
Consider freezing your credit so others cannot assume your personal identity. All three credit monitoring companies are willing to assist you with this…FOR FREE.
Use Antivirus software, a password protected firewall, and a Virtual Private Network (VPN) for Internet activity.
When software needs to be updated…do it!
Back up all important data, documents, financials, pictures…just in case!
Don’t click on anything when browsing. There is malware that can get you.
