About Lt. Governor David Wasinger
David Wasinger serves as Missouri’s 49th Lieutenant Governor, elected to the position in 2024. A lifelong Missourian, attorney, and successful businessman, Lt. Governor Wasinger has built a career defined by integrity, leadership, and commitment to the people of Missouri.
Prior to his public service, he was known nationally for his legal work as the only private attorney to serve on the U.S. government’s oversight panel for the financial crisis of 2008. His background in law, finance, and civic engagement gives him a unique perspective on the importance of strong, resilient communities.
As Lieutenant Governor, Wasinger has been a champion for veterans, economic growth, and senior citizens, working to strengthen Missouri’s workforce and quality of life for all citizens.
His presence at this year’s Champions in Action Awards underscores the value of civic partnership — a reminder that progress is powered by collaboration between business, education, and government leaders who share a vision for Missouri’s future.
