The St. Louis region is at a pivotal moment, facing population stagnation and economic challenges that demand a unified response. Earlier this year, Construction Forum issued a call to action, urging a coordinated effort to tackle these issues head-on. Since then, the momentum behind this initiative has grown, with organizations across sectors stepping up to endorse a collaborative path forward.

One of the latest to lend its support is our group, Progress 64 West. We are an influential group dedicated to economic development and business advocacy in the western part of the metro area. Recognizing the importance of regional cooperation, Progress 64 West has formally adopted a resolution to join this effort, aligning its mission with the broader goal of fostering sustainable growth and reversing stagnation.

This commitment underscores the necessity of cross-sector partnerships in shaping the future of St. Louis. With business leaders, civic groups, and policymakers coming together, this initiative is gaining the traction needed to drive meaningful change. As more organizations follow suit, the collective energy behind this movement will be a driving force for economic resilience and demographic renewal in the 16-county, bi-state metropolitan region.

Stay tuned for further updates as additional stakeholders step forward in support of this critical mission. Change is coming—and it starts with unified action.
