Everyone has a unique story from the last year and a half—extreme mixes of defeat after brutal battles and victory despite obstacles. The separation has been challenging, and many feel isolated. We've learned firsthand how much we need a community to grow, change, and thrive.
We've learned how to stand strong, which has reinforced our passion for making the future better. If we did that—anything is possible.

Every year we honor individuals and organizations who have made extraordinary efforts in improving our region.
This year's honorees include:
Ben Brown—Owner of Satchmo's Restaurant
Economic Development of St. Charles
Inventory Forge MakerSpace
St. Louis Blues Alumni Association and YouthBridge Community Foundation
Our keynote speakers are Bruce Affleck, Executive Vice President of the St. Louis Blues Alumni, and Barbara Carswell, Chief Executive Office of YouthBridge Community Foundation. These organizations and their partners raised funds and provided grants to small business owners severely affected by the pandemic.
Additionally, through the Louis S. Sachs Scholarship, Progress 64 West will be distributing a record-breaking $11,000 in scholarship funds to area high school seniors. Each year, area seniors can apply for the Louis S. Sachs Scholarship by completing the application, including writing a business plan.
The tenacity and support of these individuals and organizations are a true testament to the strength of our region. But our event won't be complete without celebrating you because you stood strong too!
